Modern contemporary pieces of art as other things

The modern table

Who am I?

That's a good question, I am an independent artist that lives in Orange county. I have dabbled in many professions, but felt the most content making things I personally want to see. I have a huge interest and fascination of how things are made, and so ended up learning many things about manufacturing processes. The last 8 years working varies places each dealing with different processes has eventually led to my own attempt of making quality objects. I dream of making entire designed houses, cars and boats, but I believe that will come further along my lifetime. Currently, My obsession is making everyday furniture but with a hyper focus on a certain details. I am very open to do commission work, and so if you have a project, feel free to email byjmpdesign@gmail.com . Also, If you made it this far and havent realized my name is Jesse Perez, well that it.

Values

Quality, unique and inclusive are the foundation of what I seek to put forth. Personally I have been frustrated with cheap and bad manufacturing, so I understand; I will pursue to produce items of longevity and detail. Unique as I can be, there will be inspiration, although I will try my very best to make pieces to stand alone amongst even themselves. Inclusive is a very clear mission for myself, as I understand that most manufactory and labor intensive work are done by the underserved and minority groups. As I belong to a sub fraction of this group, I understand the wanting to lift and change the society and so vouch to do my own part. This first come as ensuring that I support my local businesses owned by minorities. I look forward to the day I can personally pay people to work for me, but requiring myself to at an enhanced premium pay rate so to encourage self growth. I want to do things that build opportunity not for only myself, but those around me as well.

Goals

Reaching the furthest corners of the world as a artist/designer/engineer. I have the uncompromising need to create, and there is no stopping. The idea of being a privately known is fine, or even acclaimed and museum bound. I will still be creating, as to make the next thing whatever it is better than what I did prior. I can live with that ambiguous answer, and I hope you can too.
